The Place We Call Home: A Community Creation

Over the September school holidays, our community came together to create something truly special.

Piece by piece, children and families helped transform a giant house installation into a colourful artwork filled with creativity, imagination and personality. From vibrant decorations and playful designs to thoughtful details inspired by what home means to them, every contribution helped bring the project to life.

The finished house became a reflection of our community itself, built through hundreds of individual contributions and shared moments of creativity. What began as a blank canvas evolved into a bright and welcoming masterpiece that celebrated connection, belonging and the joy of creating together.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Create the Place We Call Home campaign. Watching the installation grow throughout the school holidays was a wonderful reminder that home is more than a place, it's the people who help shape it.

The final result was a colourful celebration of community spirit, and one that we were proud to share with so many local families.
