BCF Superstore and New Macpac Concept Store Coming to Majura Park
Majura Park is continuing to grow, with plans unveiled for a new large-format retail development that will bring even more outdoor and adventure shopping options to Canberra.
Located next to Harris Farm Markets, the new 3,400m² development will welcome BCF and Macpac as part of an expansion of the precinct, with construction expected to begin shortly and both stores scheduled to open in October 2027.
The development will introduce Canberra's first BCF superstore, offering an extensive range of fishing, boating, camping, four-wheel driving, apparel and outdoor adventure products under one roof. Spanning more than 2,500m², the new store will provide outdoor enthusiasts with access to an expanded range of products and services in a purpose-built environment.
Macpac will also relocate from its current Majura Park location into a new concept store designed to showcase the brand's outdoor clothing and equipment in an enhanced retail setting.
The expansion reflects the continued growth of Majura Park, which welcomes more than six million shoppers each year and has become one of Canberra's leading retail destinations for everyday convenience, value and choice.
Once completed, the development will strengthen Majura Park's outdoor retail offering, creating a dedicated destination for customers planning everything from weekend camping trips and four-wheel-driving adventures to everyday outdoor activities.
The project will also deliver an additional 110 customer car parks, complementing the extensive parking already available throughout the precinct.
With BCF and Macpac joining an already diverse mix of retail, dining and everyday services, the expansion marks another exciting chapter in the ongoing evolution of Majura Park as one of Canberra's most convenient shopping destinations.
